Serena Maria Savi

Dopo la laurea in Disegno Industriale al Politecnico di Milano nel 2003 Serena matura alcuni anni di esperienza collaborando con importanti studi di progettazione come Dante O.Benini & Partners Architects e Progetto CMR sviluppando con essi progetti di grafica, allestimento, prodotto. Fondamentale in quel periodo, dal punto di vista umano e professionale, l’incontro con il grande Massimo Vignelli sotto la guida del quale, in collaborazione con DOBP Architects, realizza la nuova immagine coordinata per l’azienda BK Italia.
Gli anni dal 2009 al 2013 sono quelli dell’approfondimento per le passioni di sempre: un master in Design del Gioiello al Politecnico di Milano, la collaborazione con il laboratorio orafo milanese di Romano Braga, il master alla Creative Academy del Gruppo Richemont che culmina con un’esperienza a Ginevra, nel team di design di Baume & Mercier sotto la guida del geniale Alexandre Peraldi. A inizio 2013 tutto è pronto per la creazione del suo proprio jewelry brand, Se.Ma..Vì design, per il quale crea quattro collezioni sperimentali puntando sulla modularità e la personalizzazione degli elementi. Immagine coordinata, logo, packaging, progettazione e prototipazione del prodotto sono interamente seguiti da Serena che affida la produzione, artigianale, ad una storica realtà milanese.
Seguono anni di esperienze individuali e in collaborazione in diversi ambiti di progettazione: grafica, arredo su misura, interni abitativi e contract che portano al consolidamento di un team di lavoro ideale in cui le diverse competenze si completano e si arricchiscono. Nasce quindi dall’esperienza condivisa l’idea di riunire sotto un’unica identità, sms design, tutta la nostra esperienza.

The years from 2009 to 2013 are those of deepening for the passions of all time: a master in Jewelery Design at the Milan Polytechnic, the collaboration with the Milanese goldsmith laboratory of Romano Braga, the master at the Creative Academy of the Richemont Group which culminates with an experience in Geneva, in the Baume & Mercier design team under the guidance of the brilliant Alexandre Peraldi. At the beginning of 2013, everything is ready for the creation of her own jewelry brand, Se.Ma..Vì design, for which She creates four experimental collections focusing on modularity and customization of the elements. The corporate image, logo, packaging, design and prototyping of the product are entirely followed by Serena who entrusts the artisan production to a historic Milanese reality.
Years of individual and collaborative experiences follow in different areas of design: graphics, bespoke furniture, home and contract interiors that lead to the consolidation of an ideal work team in which the different skills complement and enrich each other. The idea of ​​bringing together all our experience under a single identity, sms design, was born from shared experience.
